I have way more video playlists on my YT channels than I have listed on my website. I'm still working on that and more are coming!

You may note that not all the videos on some playlists are actually on my channels. That is because if I run across a good video from another source, I may add it to a playlist to help out other channels or because there is some good info in those other videos. You won't get a notification when I add videos from other channels so it pays to take a look at a playlist every now and then for new content.

You may not get to view some videos on a playlist. When YouTube puts an age limit on a video you will not be able to view it on my site. You will have to have a YouTube account and watch it after signing in if you are 18 or over. Also, some videos are restricted to only my Channel Members. Membership is not active just yet but will be soon!

I Need Help

I need your help to identify American annual community celebrations or events between the Mississippi River and the Sierra and Cascade mountains and from Canada to Mexico borders. If you live within those boundaries I would like you to send me the name, date(s), and locations of annual events in your area.

UPDATE: 10/14/2022 - I am already penciling in places and dates on my schedule for 2023. You can see my schedule at the bottom of the page and your suggestions will show up after I can verify the event.

Vernon Palomino Club

The motivation for traveling from Amarillo to Vernon was to document a young bull rider who had just graduated from Clarendon College and would be competing in his first PRCA rodeo as a professional bull rider during the Santa Rosa Roundup Rodeo. The Rodeo Committee told me I would not be allowed to film during the rodeo because I needed a PRCA license to do so. I have documented a number of PRCA in the past and have always followed PRCA media rules and local rodeo committee rules so this was a big disappointment for the young bull rider and myself.

Well, I wasn't about to travel 350 miles with nothing to show for it so I decided to visit two museums which resulted in hosted tours you can view in the links below, and uncovered two more stories!

I revisit Sturges again since the early eighties when I rode up from the festivities at the XIT Rodeo And Reunion on my Harley Davidson Sportster. An awful lot has changed since those days and I managed to document some sights and sounds.

Crazy Mountains

My maternal great-grandparents settled on a homestead in the late 1800s within 15 miles of Big Timber. I rolled into town in August of 2022 mainly to revisit locations known since childhood and dig up some family history. Little did I know that I would spend a week exploring the area. I came away with new memories, documents, photos, and videos.
