I am not new to enjoying the pleasure of having some of my photographic images printed as postcards. I had a number of photographs printed and distributed by the Baxter Lane Company in Amarillo during the 1980s.

I have recently captured a number of images while on photo trips that make interesting subjects for postcards. I am printing a limited number of postcards and plan to have them available at various locations.

Information about each one of the limited edition postcards is being made available on this web site. Just follow the Main Menu links under the Postcards tree of links.

Card Features

Limited Edition Prints - The total number of cards printed for this image will limited.

Full Image - The front of the card will contain a beautiful image unblemished by graphics and text. Who knows? You may want to put it in a fancy frame on your desk!

Description - A short description of the image subject matter.

Location - The GPS coordinates indicating where the image was captured.

Collectible Card ID - A code indicating information about the postcard.

Collectible Card ID

You will see a string of letters and numbers on each of these special postcards that looks something like this:

TX08001-5

The following is an explanation for decoding it's meaning.

TX - The geographical area where the image was captured.

08 - The two digit year when the image was captured.

001 - Indicates the sequence for this image in the TX08 series of cards.

-5 - Indicates the total number of cards printed for this image multiplied by 1,000.

So given the information in the code above you could say, "this card is the first in the series of cards from Texas during 2008 and only 5,000 cards are available".
