Wind chargers such as these are increasingly becoming a familiar sight in the Texas Panhandle. As of 2009, the state of Texas produced more electrical energy from wind than any other state in the United States. These wind chargers are located inthe middle of a field of winter wheat stalks near the small town of Panhandle, Texas.
